Free Event - Come and listen to the process we went through from researching the work in hosiery factories around Ilkeston, to writing and rehearsing our Community Play, 'A Stitch in Time'. You will also get the chance to see part of the play performed by our ICTAF actors.

About the event
Come and listen to the process we went through from our research with the workers, who used to work in the hosiery factories in Ilkeston, to the writing and rehearsing of our Community Play, 'A Stitch in Time'. You'll also get the chance to see part of the play performed by our ICTAF actors to tempt you to come to the entire play on 4th October at Kirk Hallam Community Centre. This is a musical play specifically written for the Ilkeston Community about the workers in the hosiery industry in Ilkeston during the 50s and 60s. Kindly supported by Erewash Borough Council.
This is a free event although you will need to reserve your place, by booking a free ticket, due to restricted numbers.
