Poetry on the Picture

Come and be inspired to write a poem about a picture with very local connections involving a vicar, a witch, a maid and a cat.

Caroline, an experienced poetry lecturer, will lead you through a series of writing exercises and discussions to help you prepare to write your poem, based upon the picture we will be focusing on. Get ready to be creative. You will need pen and paper or something to write notes on.

NB you will not actually write the poem in the session, just prepare for it. Your finished poem (completed at home after the event) will be included in the exhibition when the picture is finished and exhibited at ILKON
